英語裏表達相當於現在人們所說的“景點”的詞有很多，必須根據不同情況采取不同的譯法，例如：
1、tourist attraction

釋義：旅遊勝地，風景名勝；吸引遊客的事物。
例句：Buckingham Palace is a major tourist attraction.
白金漢宮是重要的旅遊勝地。
2、Tourist resort

釋義：旅遊度假區；旅遊勝地；觀光渡假中心；觀光勝地；旅遊區。

四、Sight
讀音：英［sa?t]，美［sa?t]。
釋義：
n. 景象；看見；視力；視覺；視野；視力範圍；看見（或看得見）的事物；名勝；滑稽可笑（或邋遢、臟亂、討厭）的人（或物）；瞄準具。
vt. 看到，發現（期待的事物）。
